About Coastal Path Counselling

The Full Story

Coastal Path Counselling was created as a place of compassion, reflection, and healing for those who support others, and for those who’ve been carrying more than they should have to carry alone.

Inspired by the quiet strength of the coast, the name reflects the therapeutic journey: winding, weathered at times, but always moving toward new ground. It’s a space to pause, breathe, and rediscover your direction.

Based in Swansea, Coastal Path Counselling offers in-person and online therapy for individuals across the UK. We support adults facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, grief, trauma, stress, identity, and burnout. But more than that, we support the person behind the pain, your values, hopes, and capacity to grow, even in uncertainty.

Our practice is rooted in:

• Empathy, not judgement.

• Presence, not pressure.

• Human connection, not hierarchy.

We are especially committed to supporting:

• Veterans and Armed Forces personnel, who may be carrying memories and experiences few understand.

• Emergency service workers, police, ambulance, fire, NHS  who show up for others every day, often at great personal cost.

• Neurodivergent clients, including autistic, ADHD, dyslexic, and otherwise differently wired individuals. We offer an affirming, accessible space free from assumptions or pressure to mask.

• LGBTQ+ individuals, who deserve a space that affirms their identity and honours their story.

• Anyone navigating life’s quiet (or overwhelming) struggles, who needs a place to be heard and seen.
